« on: June 29, 2011, 07:17:43 pm »
Hi there,
What size trailer will I need for 2 OSB or middle white meat pigs when there time comes to an end ?

I have use of a 1400x1100mm trailer for collecting the weaner's but will this be big enough at the end of the day ?

Cheers

I took 3, 6 month old pigs off (each around 85Kg liveweight) and a 6 x 4 trailer was a bit on the big side. I think this one should be fine (being just less than 5 x 4) - but obviously check closer to the time. As long as it has gates/ramp sides I don't see you having any problems at the abbatoir.
