first outing
« on: April 03, 2011, 11:31:45 am »
our 10 kune kune piglets are 2 weeks old today and we gave them their first outing outside into the field, roxy the mum was desparate for grass too so  she was no problem (never looked back at pilets) to get across the close from their lodgings to the field, now 10 piglets..... we woosed out and scooped them into the back of the jeep to cross the close! They were amazing rooting like no tomorrow and dancing about, we will need to secure the fencing in their outdoor area when we move them permanately  as they were popping through every hole, under gates etc!! all very tired now and back inside, pheeeeeew!

The piglets will dart and dance through the fence but as long mum does not follow that is fine.   It is fun to watch the piglets   playing and defying the fence...... but they are only little once in their lives.

Bless - babies out in the spring sunshine - just melts your heart  :pig:

Bet you didn't get much else done yesterday  :D

Better get those gaps blocked before they get too inquisitive though  ;D
