Title: Cost for a side of beef
Post by: Gregoz on July 15, 2017, 10:22:59 pm
Been offered a side of Dexter beef which I will butcher myself

Can anyone tell me how much I should be paying for the un-butchered side?

Average deadweight bullock price this week £3.85/kg so take that as a rough guide, probably offer £4/kg?

what would you expect to pay butchered ?  round here it seems to be about £11/kg which seems high
