With a very generous prize fund on offer top beef and lamb producers will be bringing the very cream of their animals to the Royal Highland Centre for the Royal Highland Winter Fair, to compete not just for the £1,000 top cattle prize nor for the £200 for the Champion Sheep, but for the honour and the glory of reaching a pinnacle that so many strive for.
2009 saw exhibitors coming from as far away as Devon, with both pure and cross bred animals, all of which had undergone months of preparation to bring them out in top class order.I

its not the first to have sausage comp, there was a sausage comp at the bpa stand in 2009 and the same year a sausage comp at the secc
