Managing woodlands for wildlife and sustainability

Add to:

Small woodlands and wildlife gardens take a lot of looking after and that work is mostly done for love. The Ugly House is no different, but the Snowdonia Society is developing small-scale sustainable productive use of the natural resources here. Come to learn about woodland management, wildlife gardening, and the connections between bees, trees, seeds, and human needs. The land is actively managed to benefit pollinators and a wide range of wildlife, while producing firewood, honey, seeds, and queen bees.
