Our two young Welsummer cockerels are missing presumed dead ☹.

We have one cockerel from the first hatch left – he damaged his leg when he was young and has been named Hoppy ☺.

He was destined for the freezer when we killed the Hubbards a few weeks ago, but we mistook him for the one going to Louis’s Little Farm so he got a reprieve.

Now with the apparent demise of the other two, one of which was going to be our breeding cockerel, Hoppy has got a second reprieve – Dan’s renamed him Hoppy-go-lucky ☺

Wanted...

Hi folks, lovely to be on here and see what everyone is sharing, it's been very informative and inspiring!

I'm not sure if this is the right section to make this post, if not please let me know as I'm new to this. I'm posting on behave of the founder of Earthways, Ludwig Appeltans, who runs a Permaculture/Organic small holding in Forres, North of Scotland.

At present we are looking for the following items and wondered if anyone would be kind enough of help or direct us?

Here are the items/poultry as follows:

1) White Layer Drake (young adult) for our lonesome hen duck

2) Cockerel for our desperate, love sick hens.

3)Automatic turning incubator.

We tried dating sites and lonely hearts column's for our hen's and duck, but alas no joy. :-)

But on a serious note, again, we would greatly appreciate any advice or direction to the right sources.

Many Kind regards

June

Hi June

You need to put this in the Forms. You'll be inundated with cockerels :-)
