I am *loving* the little movies! I adore roosters crowing anyway, but I really liked the one with the chickens and sardines too - who would have thought to give sardines to chickens? (I know ours eat almost all leftovers anyway, just never thought of sardines.)

I was advised to give them oil when they were moulting to help with feather regrowth. All I could think of was oily fish, so sardines fitted the bill. Actually, sunflower seeds work as well!!
But they do LOVE sardines - as soon as they see the tins, they're milling around and will jump up to knock the tins in my hands if I'm not quick enough.

I, too, LOVE these little chicken movies, Dan and Rosemary!!!! I played them over and over to listen to the sounds and watch them! What a very nice gift you gave to me today. Thank you ever so very much! I am sure others that viewed these clips loved them, also! Is it still warm where you live today? It was beautiful here today! We are a bit concerned over very little snow. Have a wonderful day!

Oh yes; do you still feeding the chickens sardines when they start to lay? If yes; does it change the egg shells hardness?
